Yes our enemy is already within! โ€ฆverses from another country. We know him, idiots voted for him. Itโ€™s going to be hell for us for quite awhile. We have not given up either! I would rather die than live in trumps world. Iโ€™m heartbroken and anxious but also know I need to be brave and fight this at my 65 years of age!

Deb, as an American living in the heartland of our country, I am worried too! How can the Republicans in congress and MAGA continue to sit back with blinders on? God help us!

I am an American citizen, and I'm definitely standing against this steaming heap of manure (the president) in my country. We had huge protests just a week and a half ago. I expect we will have more this weekend. We will not stand down.

Trump is both a hugely stupid person, and the biggest narcissist on the planet, as far as I can tell. He also may be literally insane and/or declining into senility. Such a disastrous cocktail of maladies! He is an easy "mark" for those wanting to manipulate him into doing their bidding.

Honestly, I cannot understand why so many Americans, especially younger white males, have been hoodwinked by Trump's bravado. That truly troubles me.

He is definitely suffering from dementia. That's what makes him so dangerous and no one will call him out.

If I'm not mistaken, the next No Kings protest is July 17.

Why not on July 4? After all, the previous one was on Flag Day.

I don't know. That's just what I've read online. I agree that July 4 would be much better.

We mustnโ€™t forget that it is Congressโ€™ job to determine whether or not we go to war. Every action this president takes is allowed to happen because Congress refuses to hold him accountable. Every Republican in Congress is complicit in this war, and every other action this man has taken. The blood will be on their hands as well.

I know it โ€œlooksโ€ otherwise. But 70% of the world stands with you Sir, as we stand with a similar % of Americans who are beyond disgusted. My response is twofold. Ukraine we will not falter. USA keep standing up, bring everyone you know. We all have to

remember (hi Russians) that the people are the power.

I'm sick over Trump's decision to bomb Iran. Regardless of how any of us may feel about Iran (and I don't view any nation supporting Russia with positive regard), it was a reckless move that does nothing to help the US or Israel, and that poses a very real risk of violent retaliation. He did it because that's what Netanyahu wanted. Putin, Trump, and Netanyahu are all the same kind of person - hungry for power at all costs.

โ€œThis is a man who tore up a deal that worked, escalated tensions, and now drops bombs while pretending to save the world from the mess he made.โ€

Which deal was that:

- the Budapest Memorandum?

- Obamaโ€™s perfectly serviceable IAEA/IRAN monitoring regime?

- NAFTA, and then his own CUSMA (after realizing heโ€™d been bested by Chrystia โ€” another โ€œdespicabl[y]โ€ competent woman)?

- WTO agreements?

- the Paris Accord?

- UNRWA?

- NATO Articles?

- the US Constitution?

Oh โ€ฆ all of them?!๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿคฌ๐Ÿคฌ๐Ÿคฌ๐Ÿ˜ญ

And all to keep his traitorous ass out of jail, or from being thrown off of a hotel balcony โ€ฆ

What a disastrous, shambolic spectre of a human being. May someoneโ€™s Hell exist solely so that he and his enablers & cronies have a place to suffer eternally alongside historyโ€™s most evil.

Before tearing up the most recent negotiations, always remember in his first term he shredded the AGREEMENT that Obama has secured with Iran.

All because he didn't want to be bettered by a black man

Viktor, thank you for your kind words.

You know exactly how I felt when I woke up and saw WWIII. He did it. Not the peace that was promised. He did what he wanted. Not sharing with the people, not sharing with Congress. Those that are in his inner circle, whom he did share, will simply lick the hand that feeds them until the end of their lives.

2003 all over again. My stomach rumbles, my head spins. Again? Yes, again. In a part of the world that is so different than ours. Whose values and governments are not aligned with ours.

Seven months has completely changed my country. Not really a surprise. The devil laid in waiting for the perfect moment for many years. And, now?

Prayers, protests, messaging, hoping that 2026 will make a comeback. If onlyโ€ฆ.

And, regardless, the people of Ukraine and the people of America will stand strong together for our countries. Very different, very much the same. Going to bed every night praying that peace will prevail and waking up every morning not knowing what might come to be.

God bless the Ukraine! God bless America!

You are exactly right, Viktor. We here in the U.S. will keep protesting, keep fighting this madness any way we can. U.S. involvement in another Middle Eastern war is extremely unpopular, even among Republicans. I anticipate even more people joining the opposition, at least I hope so.
