Sometimes, I wonder if the most terrifying thing about Donald Trump is not that he is some monster from another world.
But that he is just like us.
Biologically we are just the same. From the same species.
He breathes.
He sleeps.
He has nightmares, how possible?
He was once a child, someoneโs son, held in arms, and probably told stories before bed.
This is the part that keeps disturbing in my mind.
Not the political choices.
Not the millions who cheer him on his cheap circus.
But the realization that he is made of the same flesh and bone we all share. That he walks among us, eats, drinks, kisses, feels the rain on his face, exactly like any of us.
What values he was taught as a boy? What stories shaped his mind?
What lack of love was the source of this joy for cruelty?
When he puts a price tag on Ukrainians, he is not talking about Ukraine.
It is all about a mind that cannot see life as something sacred and calculates the worth of a child in dollars.
A mind that sees human souls like cells on a spreadsheet.
That moment when someone asked about the air defenses for Ukraine and he said โWeโll have to take a look at it. Itโs very expensive,โ he brought us something shocking:
He showed every single human being of this planet how far we can go in denying our humanity even though we are biologically alive and exercising our human functions.
Try looking in a mirror and realizing that in some way this creature is human like you.
Try telling a mother in Ukraine her child isnโt worth the price of the air defense.
Thatโs the horror, my friends.
The horror is not that he is beyond us, but that he is one of us.
That he could perfectly have been your neighbor.
Your uncle. Your grandson. Your classmate.
This is what I cannot forgive.
Because it forces us to face the ugliest possibility: that inside each of us live a seed of that same indifference.
We are not only fighting against this man or the system that he represents.
Our fight is against what he reminds us that is potentially inside each one of us, waiting for the right conditions to grow.
That corner of the heart where numbers replace faces and cruelty becomes currency.
Imagine if we could talk with our brotherly animals, how could we justify that a creature from the same group of living organisms like us could reach the depths of Donald Trump?
He shames us of being human.
But never forget he is human like us.
Because the hope will exist as long as we have shame at him.
Shame at this horrific part of ourselves.
May it never comes out and wear our face.

If you feel this, donโt keep it inside. Please carry it forward and share this piece with someone who refuses to kneel. Speak to one friend today who feels alone and remind them theyโre not. And donโt forget to subscribe to make this line really strong.
And below, the poem I shared with you yesterday. After spending so much time trying to write this article about Trump and failing to find these right words, words I only really found today (as if there even โrightโ words to describe that person, but stillโฆ)
Never in all my years have I ever had to look up words that described a evil presence , until Nov 5, 2024: the word I found that is epicly made to order to describe Trump & every person in his Regime & the Republican Congressional members: the word is ' Malific- ( an adjective) having a malignant influence, causing harm, capable of causing harm or destruction, productive of evil, malign, doing harm, baneful, the act of doing or producing diaster or evil.
I did watch a documentary on Trumpโs life and the message that was hammered into him from his father, was that if you donโt win youโre a loser. Hence his win at all costs attitude and lack of empathy, because to care means you donโt win because you put someone elseโs needs above your own and you canโt โwin โ. That combined with narcissistic personality and possibly dementia?
I have rarely ever felt hate but seeing him in action I can feel that anger and hatred pushing through. Sometimes itโs so strong it scares me, as it is not who I am, but who I could be if I let it.
Viktor, your words help and inspire. You could allow the hatred of Putin and his actions to overwhelm you, but you can still find joy in small things, and speak of love, despite the evidence of hatred all around you.
