Trump says he’s disappointed with Putin.
It’s not a joke. He told that.
A man who spent years praising that dictator, now pretends to feel let down. As if he expected him to be a gentleman.
As the former KGB agent ever lied to him about what he was.
But disappointment is a luxury of honest people. You can’t be disappointed in a butcher if you handed him the knife.
You can never claim surprise when a snake bites if you’ve been feeding it from your own hand.
Trump isn’t disappointed: he’s exposed.
Exposed as a coward who always hides behind “peace” talk when the real fight demands moral courage.
As a cynic who wants to take advantage on suffering while chanting the most empty slogans about “America First.”
Exposed also as a opportunist who sells friends and allies to keep the attention on himself.
While he whines about “disappointment,” Ukrainian people sleep in subway stations, not knowing if they will be able to return to surface tomorrow.
While he performs on TV, Ukrainian mothers write their children's names on their backs, just in case they need to identify the body.
He poses as a peacemaker just to allow Putin to reload.
The most humiliating of everything, as if it’s possible, is that he doesn’t have the guts to fully own his loyalty to Putin.
He pretends hurt, but he is not a betrayed lover. He wants to keep both masks on: the strongman and the victim.
Putin didn’t conquer Trump. Trump offered himself.
Eager. Willing. Grateful.
And now he cries disappointment, as a man who gave his house to an arsonist and wonders why it burned.
You don’t have to love Ukraine to understand this is about you too.
This is about what kind of world you want to live in. I probably have said that a dozen times, sorry about that.
This is not about left or right. Not about flags or parties.
This is the choice between standing up and vanishing. Between being a human or an pathetic echo in a dictator’s mouth.
In summary, Trump is not disappointed. He can be exposed. But it’s very likely that he is also delighted.
He gets to sell his weakness as wisdom, his cowardice as caution.
His cynicism as if it is virtue.
But some of us see it. And we refuse to kneel.
If Ukraine falls, if decency falls, there won’t be a single border left between you and the next man who wants to own your life.
And you know that there are no shortage of candidates to fill his space when the world finally thinks it can breathe again.
That’s why we keep going.
That’s why we keep this line alive.
If this line falls, truth is the first to be executed.
And it has never been in as much danger as it is now.

If you feel this, don’t keep it inside. Please carry it forward and share this piece with someone who refuses to kneel. Speak to one friend today who feels alone and remind them they’re not. And don’t forget to subscribe to make this line really strong.
Very well put. Know that you are not alone in feeling this way about trump. There are millions here in America. Thank you for your words that I will share. Praying for you and Ukraine 🇺🇦💛💙🇺🇸🙏🏼
We see this. I am ashamed for whatever I did or did not do to have opened the door to this horror that is our elected president and the sad and old and incompetent members of the House and Senate. There are still so many here in the US that support all this cruelty and conning and robbing of our future.
